The NEB announced the creation of the Confidential Disclosure (Whistleblower) Procedure (“Whistleblower Procedure”) on its website. The NEB noted that the Whistleblower Procedure will provide the NEB with a formalized way to receive, track and handle confidential disclosures related to activities at NEB regulated facilities, in light of increased reports over the last two years.
The NEB noted that the Whistleblower Procedure is an anonymous reporting tool for confidential communication with tipsters.
The NEB notes that whistleblowers may contact the NEB by mail, phone, or email.
